Felines are known for being master meownipulators and convincing other families that they're poor, sad stray cats that need their love, even when they have a purrfectly good family back home. At one point, we discovered that one of our cats (who would always find a way to sneak out no matter how much we tried to keep her in) had three other families who took care of her. What a greedy kitty!

It's not just hissterical house cats who purrticipate in the "not my cat" phenomenon. Street cats will often decide that they're living in your house, sneak in, charm you until you decide to adopt them, and then all of a sudden, you have a pet cat. These "not my cats" are the sneakiest, but also the cutest. They come in, purr, love on you, sleep on the edge of your bed, and slowly, you fall in love with them. What can we say, cats will be cats. They love to sleep in the weirdest places. We have countless articles about it, feel free to check. From sleeping on top of textured radiators to falling asleep inside the backyard grill, cats will sleep anywhere except their own beds. Why? Who knows. That's one of life's greatest meowsteries.

Orange cats are the most dangerous “not my cats”, and by dangerous, we mean the most charming. There's something in our DNA as a feline fanatic that we just can't resist them. They're so fluffy and loving that we give in to their every demand. Even if they're not our cat. And slightly mean.
